LSU fans have always had a reputation for being somewhat fair weather fans. I mean, all fan bases surely are to an extent. LSU has a reputation among fellow SEC programs as being perhaps more of that than the average...quicker to jump ship and turn on the program.

My theory is that LSU has a greater percentage of non-alumni fans than some other programs. I think alumni will stick with their school in down times far longer than some non-alum fan (who is solely and emotionally attached to a successful football program) will put up with losses.

Could be wrong, I often am.

Whoa there brother, you need to pump the brakes. And find somebody who agrees with your definition of 'big three men's'. I mean no disrespect, but your claimed BB NC because of your 1935 win in the American Legion Bowl is a bit, how shall I say this, Aggy-ish...

Now, your 6 NC wins in Omaha is Homeric, and your women's track program is otherworldly great. Ya'll are good to great in many sports.

But more 'big three men's NCs' than UF? Notsomuch. You have to win a genuine BB NC title first.

Edit: Big 2, and you have it over us.

LSU has a long history in the CWS, and a history as recently as last year playing way over their regular season offering effort when it is crunch time. They have a pedigree.

Are you going to the prom this year? Dude. Georgia played great in the first half. I hate the Mutts, but I had to accept how well you were doing. And then Bama and its defense tightened up, and Tua was not to be denied. Look, enjoy the year and move on. The ref cheated you whining is unbecoming.
