Possible. If the NCAA expanded the season to a full 52 weeks.

Was he linked in 08'? I honestly don't remember. I've always liked Fisher and would be as happy as a diabetic in a candy store if we hired him.

Yup. His name was the hot one that everyone thought was going to take the job, because "no one knew when Bowden was stepping down"

Do your sources have any info wrt the specifics of why Trooper was pulled off the trail? Hearing conflicting information on my end. Please advise.

Exactly. They can't just look and tell you. Ty have to have had conversations. The coaching community - specifically asst coaches - are almost always looking for the next step up. They'll reach out to other coaches about jobs and have their agents do the same. A lot more conversations go on during season than you think.

Why do you think AU has to go to Memphis, South Florida, and outside the SEC for recruits?

Because we are going after the best players in the country. In case you didn't know, Georgia and Florida produce far more talent than Alabama.

Why would Jimbo leave Fla St?

he wouldnt, of course.

He's got it made in the ACC. Plus, recruiting well in Florida. What more could you want?

Jimbo Fisher is their top candidate. Bobby Petrino and Charlie Strong are the other 2 serious candidates
BG13 did work with this a couple days ago. I think it's safe to say what you have also heard is accurate. I'd be happy with either of the 3. BG13, good job, man. Keep bringing the news over here when you are given the chance.

More $

College coaches have huge egos. They like a challenge. Name a bigger challenge than the SECW?

why can't they. I mean anyone can look at auburn and say, "man chiz gonna get fired," and notice that petrino, strong, and fisher are who they'd be after. why woudl you need a conversation for that. I'm having more trouble figuring out what i want for lunch than piecing that together.

Right now my reasoning on the complete lack of any insider information is the exact same as the insider information you're claiming.

I'm not saying you don't ever get anything right from your sources, but you're certainly not batting 1.000 either.

I highly doubt you're hearing anything, but just for shits and giggles...what is it?

BG13 has been right about him all along. I can't wait to see him gone.
