I appreciate you passing along what you have heard. A lot of "experts" in here . I've never understood why people get bent out of shape that there are some people who do know people on here. Anyway,

Yup. His name was the hot one that everyone thought was going to take the job, because "no one knew when Bowden was stepping down"

Interesting. Thanks for the info

I could be wrong, but didn't Saban leave after the season was over?

Yes. He took the Alabama job in January 2007, after the season ended. Where he fricked up was saying 'I will not be the Alabama coach' in one of his press conferences.

That's what I thought.

I remember him saying that but that doesn't equal leaving your team a note and disappearing into the night like BP did.

What about calling a meeting and phoning it in?

Better than leaving a damn note in the locker room.

I'm not saying you don't ever get anything right from your sources, but you're certainly not batting 1.000 either.

No joke. Who does bat 1.000 with sources? Shite, I can't bat 1.000 with decisions in MY life. You don't expect me to bat 1.000 with info about other people.

Saban spoke with Texas after last season. I wldve been wrong if you'd asked me if that wldve happened bc I wldve said no. Mullen has tried for three jobs the past three years. I wldve said he'd have left State by now bc he's a decent coach and usually decent coaches who look can find someone willing to hire them. You don't get them all right, but you can only state what the situation is AT present.

especially when one group is making millions upon millions and getting paid. It's just a job to those players.

It was especially touching that Bobby introduced his lovely wife at his first Arkansasian press conference. I could sense the love and respect over YouTube.

looks like you copied and pasted my info I posted on the Auburn board about the 3 candidates. At least the OP could recognize his source of info as AuburnCPA

Where did you get your info? From a thread on this site Saturday? Who started that thread? It's a never ending cycle

What is the outlook on VanGorder's future? He seems to have the defense playing better, and him staying is key to salvaging that defensive recruiting class, but will the baby get thrown out with the bath water?

There's a little speculation on the LSURB that Chavis has turned up the heat on Foster, ink and all.
