Saban's rise to dominance is on the decline, now. It may take a while but it's happening.

Yep. Lost a game this year. On his way out. Coaching search to begin right after he totes another crystal ball outta Miami....

If Jay Jacobs doesn't frick this up, I think we get to choose which one we want to get his arse kicked annually by Rev. Saban.

Fixed.
In short, Golden's not planning to run anywhere.

Dark days are almost certainly coming to Miami, with the NCAA expected to send a notice of allegations to the school soon -- possibly in the next couple weeks. If that timetable holds up, sanctions could come around March. But Golden believes the worst has already happened, with Miami self-imposing two bowl bans and with him planning to hold back some scholarships that could go toward signing more players this winter.

That all being said, many around Miami's program believe the next couple seasons could be great ones. That's also why they think Golden is staying put.

He raves about living in South Florida, both life in Miami and the ability to jump in the car and be in gorgeous places like the Florida Keys, Naples and Palm Beach within an hour or so. His wife and children are happy calling the area home. He's under contract until Feb. 1, 2020.

Not Leaving Miami. Maybe.
As long as Saban is in command of the mighty Crimson and Tide, no worries about any other school and any other 2nd rate coach they may cream their jeans over.

Face it, Saban and the Tide rule the BCS. There may be the un-expected bump along the road (TAMU), but overall, yeah....you know it. DWI.
NFL coaches typically don't clean their ears out while on national TV. So i say no worries.

Auburn\Arkansas\Fisher\Strong Question

Posted by Tide Life on 11/20/12 at 8:37 am
We’ve all heard the names mentioned with certain schools search for a new head coach. Some of the names are current head coaches of teams that can potentially be playing in major bowls, Jimbo Fisher and Charlie Strong.

Can a team in the SEC, namely Auburn and Arkansas (Gruden is a lock already for UT correct??) wait until after the bowl games (FSU and Louisville projected to play on January 1st) to announce their hire? Or would they announce the hiring of one of the head coaches and the head coach not coach in the bowl game? I can see this if it was a lower tier bowl, but to potentially not coach in a BCS bowl should be a major deal. Or would either school perhaps make a quick hire in order to establish the coaching staff and try to keep the recruiting class together?

And would Tuberville not coach a bowl game in order to be hired at Arkansas?

Chiz WILL be in Auburn next year

“They’re not going nowhere,” said four-star running back Derrick Green in an interview with Auburn Undercover. “They said, ‘We plan to be here.’ That’s what they told me. They plan to be here and they’re not going anywhere.”

Not only were the Auburn coaches ensuring the Class of 2013 of their job security, even high school juniors were being told to expect Chizik and his assistants to still be around by the time they arrive on the Plains.

“They were telling me they think everything is going to be all right by next year,” said 2014 wide receiver Demarre Kitt in an interview with 247Sports. “By the time my class comes through, they should be great."

Once you see the dumpster fire, set up your tailgate. You're there. :doublebird:
It might matter to some of the lower tier bowl selection committees, but other than that, it would be irrelevant. :booboo:

Gogue also told the trustees to whom he talked that he plans to retain athletics director Jay Jacobs

But but but some guy on here last week said he knew someone who tailgates with parents of some of the Auburn players and they had gotten "the call" from someone who said Jacobs was fired? Does this mean i can't believe everything i read on the Rant? Is someone purposely spreading false truths about the Tigers?

Maybe, just maybe...Robert Nkemdiche

Posted by Tide Life on 11/8/12 at 10:30 am
Late Wednesday night, reports surfaced that the nation's No. 1 recruit, Robert Nkemdiche, had decommitted from Clemson and possibly was on the verge of committing to Ole Miss.

Then a report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution said that the Grayson (Loganville, Ga.) star denied the rumors, saying via text message, "Nothing final yet" and later, "Yes (still committed to Clemson). Just undecided."

Now, Grayson head coach Mickey Conn is confirming that his star defensive end is, in fact, no longer committed to Clemson.

"Yes, he has decommitted," Conn told MaxPreps in an email this morning.

While Ole Miss seems like a likely destination for Nkemdiche, there will be a number of suitors for the 6-foot-5, 270-pound defensive end, including Alabama, which was once thought to be the favorite to land him.

The media deluge surrounding Nkemdiche comes at a critical time for Grayson, which seeks to repeat as a state champion. It faces rival Brookwood in its regular season finale Friday night.

Any of them read the SECr? If so, you already busted. Spill it...

I had a subject deleted yesterday due to the same lack of good sources. They were sources, but not deemed good i guess.

I expect this thread to be deleted soon.
Not if DuBose was available.
AJ's mom is much hotter than jff's mom. So yes, he's a better quarterback.

Not flaming, but its kinda interesting to see how long it takes ANY post about Auburn to turn into a string of discussions about would he\wouldn't he have won the NC in 2010.

Oh well, at least this post didn't get deleted like mine yesterday. Well, not yet...
