Bc we aren’t upvoting ourselves, but when everyone racks up dozens of downvotes and there is only a few Auburn posts, it shows how passive aggressive you guys are after a loss. It’s kind of lame.

I admit I'm very anti-Auburn but I don't see any controversy here.
The clock hits 0.0 and you can still see the ball touching his hand and it gets pushed forward by his hand afterwards. It was obviously close but waiving it off was the correct call.

They're back to being irrelevant as predicted.
When I saw Pearl jr. Call a timeout and other coaches were the ones in the huddle, that told me all I needed to know.

Part of the problem with this controversy is that the display scoreboards in the arena still show a tenth of a second after the official clock (above the backboard) and backboard lights have hit zero.

he last 5 seconds was a complete screw job against the Aggies. They kept adding clock time even after adding it once, then shooting free throws. Then they add more seconds.
We had an inbounds pass where the guy catches and dribbles and then is fouled in the corner, and they say it all transpired in .3 seconds. (and the clock started on time).
Then they blow the whistle after a guy heaves a half court miss out of bounds with only .3 left.
THEN they rule they shouldnt have stopped it, and they give the ball back, and add another .3.
Bizarre attempts there. And then telecast wont pause the last shot at the buzzer- I'm actually stunned they ended up making it right.
BIZARRE!
They also added .2 seconds between free throws during aTm's last free throw line visit.

True but that's an auburn arena problem and not a ref's issue.

Their clock operator did his damndest the last 2 minutes by adding phantom tenths of seconds to the clock. The dirty rascal.

Sorry, Auburn.
Then don't blow the lead and give the zebras the opportunity. No fricks given...do better Steven.

Key context on empty seats: Auburn was down big after giving up a 6-30 run to TAMU. I probably would've left, too.

This was so bad. The REFS should have reviewed the FT shot to see if it hit the rim and
1. If it did hit the rim then its A&M's ball with 0:03 seconds left.
2. If it didn't, then its Auburn's ball with the same amount of time on the clock when the FT was attempted.
Refs screwed the sequence up spectacularly.

If this had been the case, would Auburn have inbounded under their own goal, or on the sideline?
Also, why the hell did the A&M player intentionally miss the FT? Seems like it opens the door for weird/bad things to happen, which it did. If he just makes it, Auburn at best would've had a rushed halfcourt heave for the tie.
