Now onto the good news. We just hired a guy with a record of putting insane offensive numbers. Our DC is loved by his players and is one of the top coordinators in the country. This year's class might not be good, but we still have the portal, and next year we should be back in the recruiting game.
The future is bright.

I'm beginning to think our administration and boosters have no true interest in building a winning football program
In all Fairness you paid your last three coaches a combined 52 million and Gus was canned in 2020...
Maybe this is the full might of Auburn....
Maybe this is just...... Auburn

I wouldn’t worry too much. Auburn’s got enough cash to throw around & hire some portal talent.
Yellafella is nearly 80 and kind of fat and unhealthy. Tim Cook could probably be convinced to NiL some strapping young men. Short of that the well is getting a little dry.

What’s really bad for Auburn is your roster I am afraid is fixing to be scalped by other sec teams imo . I know everyone wants Cam Coleman and several of the young defensive players .
There will be some departures but what's more worrisome is bringing in a dud of a freshman class that will be a large part of the foundation of the 2027-2028 teams. If the boosters/administration were serious about winning they wouldn't in a million years allow something like this to happen.

I heard Coleman was talking to Bama.

Florida and LSU are in the top 16. How are we #78 behind Troy if we're serious about winning?

Can't tell if the Cotton balls yall bought are suppose to be clouds or icebergs in honor of your former coach

I've never been able to pick up on who's alter this handle is but this thread is exactly like last years thread at this time of the year.

First time in a long time that we are starting to put the pieces of the puzzle together. If you are a WR, RB, or QB, and see the offensive production Golesh can put up and couple that with AU's NIL plus a shite ton of eyeballs watching you, this is a no brainer. On the other side, Durkin has a 1st round pick to show off, his defensive stats and what he has done with Atkinson.

Borotiger has arrived with his head in the sand.
Last year we did well and signed a top 10 class?

Our HC was too busy watching other dudes play golf. There's a new sheriff in town. This one is very unlike the last one.
So Freeze signed our best two recruiting classes in years and then forgot how to recruit for the 2026 class? He also was lights out at Ole Miss.
The boosters don't want to pay for consistent success. It's obvious.

Yes. Where were we ranked in early December?

Auburn only has 11 commits right now...they fired their coach a while back.
They will get some flips in the coming days with the good hire and DC.
They will also do well in the portal
I expect us to get some flips.........and I do think we go portal heavy this year.
I am not really worried about "signing rankings" this year. We need to keep our young talent and bring in a solid portal class.

OP is just a dumbass troll. You should ask him why he knows this was supposed to be a really small class, but posted this anyway.

Gus Malzhan defeated Alabama this season. Eventually you guys will claim that victory. Chin up!

It all fell apart when Auburn let The Gentry go. The numbers don’t lie.
