vs LSU
vs ULM
@ Mississippi St
vs Arkansas
@ Ole Miss
vs Vanderbilt
@ Georgia
vs Alabama A&M
@ Alabama

They will be favorites in 3 of their remaining games for sure (ULM, Vanderbilt, AAMU). They have 1 game that could go either way (Miss St). They will likely be underdogs in 5 (LSU, Arkansas, @ OM, @ UGA, @ Bama). If they win the 4 toss up/favorites, that gets them to 5. So, they will have to win at least 1 of the games they will be underdogs in to get to 6-6.

What is the probable finish to the season for Auburn record wise?

ESPN FPI says 7-5 (4-4)
Massey says 5-7 (2-6)
S&P says 5-7 (2-6)

I really do think Auburn isn't a bad team just the parity this year is great

I think they'll beat LSU this weekend and all of these odds will shift again.

I would say 5-7 but they have the talent to score an upset or 2 so 6-6 with a return trip to Birmingham. They will still give L5U all they want and then some.

They'll beat 2 out of LSU, Arkansas, OM, and UGa. But lose to Vanderbilt. Lose to Bama. Beat State, ULM and AA&M.

6-6

Check back next week and you'll have a much clearer picture.

If Auburn were to beat LSU at home (which is certainly possible), and if Texas A&M beats Arky Saturday, suddenly Auburn is 2-2 with the two losses likely occurring against Top 6 or 7 teams.

I think they'll easily beat ULM, Vandy, and Alabama A&M... that gets them to 4 wins. But I also think LSU, Miss St., Arkansas, and yes even Georgia are possible wins for them. All of those teams in the previous sentence have looked flawed at times this year.

I think Ole Miss could be a difficult test for Auburn. But how determined will this Ole Miss team play down the stretch now that they are practically eliminated from the SEC West title hunt? They could very well collapse near the end just like the last two years.

I think if Auburn beats LSU Saturday, 8-4 is possible. If they lose to LSU, the wheels might come off the bus, and you may be looking at a 4-8 type of season.

I agree. I'd say a reasonable range (90%) would be somewhere between 8-4 and 5-7, with 6-6 being the "most likely" landing spot.

Auburn : S&P Stat Profile 2016

S&P Chances at Records for Auburn
3-9 : 1%
4-8 : 10%
5-7 : 25%
6-6 : 32%
7-5 : 22%
8-4 : 8%
9-3 : 2%
