Every year auburn is supposed to do well, they don't.

Any year they happen to be under the radar, they surprise.

I think they'll be good, but they'll find a way to mess it up.

Would a 10 win regular season be considered a very big year for AU?

Finebaum knows what he is doing, he's always been pretty good at setting up the dominoes.

Auburn has pretty much lost every single game of any sort of significance for what, 3 straight years now?

Auburn can realistically be a great team every year. They have the athletes. But they always mess it up. That usually comes down to either their QB or coaching. Auburn is great when luck is on their side (see 2013), or when they have an it factor player like that guy in 2010.

Now let's do LSU post-Saban.

If Stidham, Pettway, and the O-Line can stay healthy... he's right.

It wouldn't be big in the way it would be big for A&M or Arkansas

But it would be big in the sense that Auburn rarely seems to actually hit the 10/11 win mark, we're either 7/8/9 or (more rarely, of course) - 12/13

Auburn seems to ride emotion to good seasons. If they can get to the UGA and Alabama home games with 1 loss or less, I could see a big year.

The QB play has traditionally determined our level of success, as we always lived on the run game and solid defense. That whole philosophy disappeared after Tubbs, but I think we are back to it now with our personnel. That being the case, if Stidham is average to above-average, I think we hit 10 and if he's real good, SECCG contender.
