UGA was robbed of a TD on the same play since the ruling on the field did not change. UGA did not pooch their lip out and whine and lose composure...in fact they did just the opposite. They got the ball on the 1 yard line with about 90 seconds left in the half and drove down the field and got a FG before the end of the half...with the help of 1 (2?) stupid emotional penalties against Auburn who was pouting because their fee fees were hurt. UGA is not an elite team...problems all over the place...but Auburn flat out quit because things weren't going their way on every play....thats a systemic issue outside of coaching, its cultural.

Never assume malicious conspiratorial intent when simple incompetence will suffice as an explanation. If the refs had wanted to steal a TD from Auburn and gift one to UGA, they had one gift-wrapped for them that they inexplicably just sort of pretended didn't happen on the fumble play. And yes, it was a fumble.

Auburn got screwed in the first half.

Auburn lost the game on their own in the second half.

The second half took Freeze's excuse away and made him look just as pathetic as the refs in the end.

Wasn’t that play when Kirby was clapping/timeouting the same play the Auburn defensive player could be seen clapping on the field? Auburn got lucky, defensive players are prohibited from clapping when on the field. Any time, any position. The Auburn defensive back should have been flagged for 5 yards. The refs were really looking out for Auburn on that play.

Jesus, the irony of a bama fan saying another team has benefited before from the officiating.

WOW!

Let's see bama cheated more than ANY other football program AND gets all the calls from officials.

There was a 1-2 year period recently when the NCAA decided they'd had enough of Saban. Hence the UcheaT game when bama lost. That game was CLEARLY fixed. No fuggin doubt about it.

The refs went slap nuts for alot of plays in a short period of time and gave UGA so much momentum that Auburn quit.

Had the refs not been dirty Auburn would have scored the TD to end the half and never lost momentum. UGA would be unranked right now.

What a mentally weak team to quit when you're still up a TD going into the second half.

Auburn was still up by a TD going into half time after a dominating first half performance. The refs are not why Auburn lost.

Again, no more so than UGA did on the same play. The call on the field was a fumble recovered by UGA at the one or inside the one. The player that recovered the fumble was demonstrably not down when he took off for the end zone. He crossed the goal line with the ball in possession but the officials returned the ball back to the one where he recovered it initially. The fumble was bang bang and no evidence was clear cut that he was not losing possession prior to the ball breaking the plane of the goal line. The call in real time was he did not. That was upheld I assume by a lack of video evidence to the contrary. One team or the other got screwed by a bad call. The only one where there is abundant and indisputable video evidence is the UGA player never being down. The ruling on the field was a fumble recovered by a player, clearly, who was not down and play should not have been stopped. UGA was robbed of exactly the same thing Auburn claims to be robbed of....a TD. UGA rolled up their sleeves and went back to work. Auburn pooched their lip out and pouted....

If Auburn lost their composure like they did Saturday that is all on Auburn. Officials make shitty calls every game....its part and parcel of the game, it is not remotely unusual. What is unusual is to completely lose your shite because it happened. In the game in question it either happened to UGA or Auburn...the call was shitty one way or the other. One team quit over it, the other did not....if Oklahoma fans sounded like that it is due to the fact that they are logical and capable of abstract thinking and are not ruled by emotion....I don't know where Auburn got the idea that shitty calls are rare but their reaction Saturday night is indicative of a group of people having experienced it for the very fist time....

Amusing that no one complains about officiating when they win. Be a winner.
