Why does he keep up with the charade of Nix being a play caller? Honestly should just give the keys to Kent Austin. Seems like OM was at their best under Freeze when Kent Austin was OC and Tom Arnold was DC.

It is an interesting story. Not unheard of to have an OC, pass play specialist and and OC minded HC with his hand on override.
Just seems a mess.
That said, the worse the situation and expectations feel at AU the more they surprise.

I like it. Just when the defense think they have it figured out, let Nix start calling third downs and Austin do first downs and they'll be totally lost.
