When he was at AU, I've never seen a defensive backfield that was more clueless ill prepared to take the field. Oklahoma fans said he sucked. UGA fans said he was awful. I held out hope in 2012 thinking he might at least change the players' attitudes. That defense was rock bottom as an AU fan.

I will give Shoop credit, he seemed to really shine against the better teams he faced. There aren't many teams they faced with good offenses but they seemed to do really well when they did go up against them.
