that's what's so strange about Gus' approach. He doesn't need Mickey Mouse gimmicks to beat other teams. He's actually lowering Auburn's capabilities by running a middle school offense. Makes as much sense as wearing sweater vests in the summer.

It's not some rare thing for offenses not to be in sync for the first game of the year.

Gus plays for two national titles with mobile QBs, so the most logical thing to do is recruit Jeremy Johnson and Sean White.

Auburn always falls flat when the expectations are high and always plays well when they are low. You know nothing about football if you don't know that.
No one thought after 35-0 to LSU they'd be in the championship game in 2013.
They played Clemson FFS, not South Alabama. I've never seen Auburn fans overreacting so badly in all my life.

That is the case when you are replacing a large group of players.
Clemson returned the entire offense except for two linemen. The same Clemson team that azz raped the majestic bammer defense just 7 months ago.

He offense was fine till the last few year. He seems to want to show how smart he is and it's killing his offense.
