That describes every program ever. It doesn't matter if it's Texas, USC, or Notre Dame. If you don't have coaching, it doesn't matter what resources you have.

my point is that the coach is the one who is responsible for the recruiting talent, not the university itself.

Well, it's probably not the University but it certainly is the Alabama football program as well.

JMHO, I have a hard time believing there is a college coaching job with more pressure to win than Alabama football. With the exception of the blue blood basketball programs like Duke/UK/UL, etc.

Yes, and it is. Note that neither RT1941 (who is one of the better posters on this site) nor I said it was the ONLY school that is a pressure cooker.
And neither one of said there was no pressure at Clemson either (like you keep saying).

I'm too young to remember, but I'm sure the pressure was there under Bryant. And there was plenty of pressure after Bryant. That's why they fired an SEC Championship winning coach during that time.
