If he loses to Bama would you be okay if he did go to Arkansas?

Serious question no troll here.

If he wants to go home I'm not going to blame the guy.

I want him to stay but I'd understand and appreciate all he's done here over the past seven or eight years.

That would be up to him if he wants to go backwards and take over a lower tier program.

Yes, we will be ok with him going to Arkansas. We will be able to find someone just as good. I don't think Auburn should bite if Jimmy Sexton is behind all of this. If he isn't, I think he will fit in well at Arkansas. You can hide a lot of deficiencies in talent with the rest of your team with a good DT QB - a la Auburn 2010 team.

Can't fault someone for wanting to go home if that is truly his motivation and if his motivation isn't to simply get a raise from Auburn - I am still skeptical about his motivations personally.

If Gus wanted to go home, I would understand and pull for him outside of the AU game. FWIW, I hope he stays. His strengths at program building are top notch. He had some growing pains early, but he has only been a college coach for 6 years. The SEC West is a tough league to cut your teeth.

I think this question is overly simplistic. It all depends on HOW he wins or loses. If we'd have eeked out a win against LSU people would still be upset over the abortion of a 2nd half Gus called.

Yes, I would be okay. His family is there also, so can't blame him there.

Would you be happy with him as your coach?

Kristi wants to be near her elderly parents in Arkansas. Lots of family pulling them in that direction. God speed if he decides to go there. Auburn will be fine, Chizik (Mr. 5-19) won a NC. Every Auburn Coach since Dye has won at least 10 games in a season.

I mean, why not? Im not a huge fan of Gus, but, who we gonna get who is better? Gus with that Dual Threat QB from Earle, AR, the #1 player in Arkansas, Gerry Bohannon would be nasty. Especially if he brings Kevin Steele with him. He's a better DC than we've had since Monty Kiffin. Or are you an old nutthugger?

Wouldn't hold any hard feelings towards him, I'm sure it was always his dream job. He'd leave the program in pretty good shape.

Yes, I believe they have all had a perfect season also with exception to Gus. He did win the SEC and go to the ship though.

I’d be OK with it. It would be a downgrade for him, but he’s an Arkansas boy and would be near family. Football isn’t always the most important thing in the world after all...

You guys ar being too reasonable, level-headed, and fine with all this; I smell a rat. Ya'll want him gone anyway, huh? Keep it real. Like when we beat #1 LSU in Baton Rogue and still fired Nutt's arse?

Kevin Steele wouldn't go with him- he is still trying to qualify for retirement as an Alabama public employee.
