I think Cam will shove it up Arky's arse this year and we will win by 50.

No, not all of us are. We are just counteracting the claims that you all are making that he won't pan out or he isn't good.

Runs both ways. Making claims either way right now is premature.

I don't disagree with this. History says the odds are against him, but he could end up the best of all time...I don't know

Correct. I would have liked for the Hogs to have signed Kodi out of HS. He just never really developed as a QB at Auburn.

As usual a lot of ignorance being posted here.
Newton has a tremendous upside to him and to be honest he is partially living up to some of his potential. He has some mechanic problems to work on but his accuracy is just as good as Todd's last year which was not bad. He is actually better in shorter passes than Todd and Todd couldn't throw as deep as him.
As far as his character issues he bought a laptop that was stolen for an acceptable amount. The worst he could face at that time was possession of stolen property. That simply means you bought something that was stolen and they are going to take it back unless you give them trouble then they will charge you. He was charged initially because he got scared and threw the laptop away thus hindering the police investigation. The police felt this was within reason that an 18 year old guy who just found out the laptop he bought was stolen got scared. If only some of the posters here had their lives scrutinized like him. I'm not saying he is a saint or that he did the right thing, as obviously he didn't but it was not as bad as some make it out to be.

Whoever said Auburn would beat the Hogs by 50. Damn, does that mean our D will give up a 100 to the Auburn offensive juggernaut?

I'd say more like 150..
Wade Christopher will come in to quarterback a couple series.

May happen but be forewarned, we have added a .45 caliber sidearm “the pistol” to our already lethal arsenal that includes a shotgun and a howitzer (Mallett).
