Don't see or hear this at all anymore. I think this was the case for a week after the selection of Bama but most got quiet after Bama won the first game and then the NC. You even had Kirk defending it.

BTW, this is coming from someone who wants to expand the playoff.

It is not like Auburn Fans entire wardrobe are t-shirts and imitation polos like the Bammers. I doubt you will see many of those shirts in public. If Saban had worn any shirt like that (of course it couldn't say SECW or SECC, but maybe "eye test" Champ), every Bammer would be wearing them to church and weddings. ?

Having two SEC teams in it didn’t help, especially when one didn’t even win their division .

You do realize that a non-division winner got in OVER their conference champ the year before right? And then subsequently lost by 31

Herbie was just being PC, because he really thought OSU was in. Did you see his reaction when Bama was announced. ESPN put a muzzle on him afterwards, but you could tell he had the same issues with it as most of the non-Bama fans.

Yes, and it was strike one against the committee.

I would bet money that you are wearing something that has Bama reference on it as we speak.

He should probably get a polo with this title on it. Would be more impressive than a divisional polo.

No, he explained his reaction. He thought it wouldn't happen because of the "politics" involved but knew Bama was the better team. It would have been so easy for him to be pro-OSU and no one would have blamed him for that. He took a ton of shite over picking Bama over OSU. He really had no reason to want to do that.

Hell Joey Galloway was the Ohio State equivalent to Finebaum all week and he still couldn't bring himself to say that Ohio State was the better team

I'm surrounded by Big 12 fans most of the time. Many of them hate the SEC as much as any group. Most of them thought it was the right choice, even if they didn't like saying it. The people that didn't think it was right got very quiet after the playoff.

I bet The best Conference (3 Top 10 teams) was left out of the playoffs, and they were OK with that.

You realize that they both work for ESPN ? It was like watching CNN, the company line left a lot of bitter taste in many mouths there, but you knew they were not going to question the product they were covering.

College Football has become the new Boxing, thanks to the Committee. That should be a big fear for the NCAA, because just like some of the boxing judges, this committee seems to have the scorecard completed before the fight even begins.

You are so blinded by your hate for Bama.

I didn't care either way and actually want the playoff to expand.

A. The aforementioned opinions were stated before the announcement. Not after

B. ESPN stood to make more money off Ohio State getting in. The last thing they wanted was a team from Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama when they could have by far the biggest draw in the Midwest. Nola and Atlanta also would have preferred OSU over Bama

Exactly, we are going to find out soon that ESPN knew a day before it was announced.
