1, I am an Alabama fan since I stopped sports writing, so I'm not an unbiased observer.
2. That being said, I have zero use in this or any known solar system for Phillip Marshall and haven't for going on 50 years now ... I was witness to a sports writer from the Birmingham News who old-timers will all know but I'm not going to say who picking up a knife off the table and threatening to cut Phillip with it at a restaurant in Chapel Hill, N.C., in 1987, while we were up there covering the Auburn at UNC game because Phillip who'd been drinking non stop at the press hospitality room all afternoon was bellowing at the top of his lungs to a Friday night dinner crowd at a nice place "Herschel Walker couldn't carry Bo Jackson's jock strap" ... but even he wouldn't go this far. Somebody put some nice work into this fake.

The entire country aside from the bama fan base felt that the Brandon miller situation was handled poorly. But this is a new year, and I’m not the one posting fake articles.
