Look....just because the first team D is smothering your very inept offense with no RB and a overrated QB at Fall camp doesn't mean you have a good D Line.
AU is a 7 win team at best this year with a real chance to drop into the 3-5 range

I think we will be a little thin across the D-Line....but I appreciate the shout out!

You realize that a DL is made up of at least 3, usually 4 guys, right? One player that is nowhere to be found in conference games doesn't make up a top DL
Serious question, was Myles Garrett hurt at all last year? I don't remember hearing his name called against Auburn.

You do realize that Lawson was MIA, yet you guys are counting on him as part of this formidable DL of yours.
Don't get me wrong. I understand why Auburn is proud of their DL, but if you want to question Garrett, don't they get to question Lawson?

Well going by what most turds on here say, teams and players don't get better for other teams.
I could see Auburns D improving and being a very fine unit. Who knows, auburn somehow seems to be either at the top or bottom, we will know soon enough.

Auburn dose not have 1 DL that can take on a double team and tie up that Xtra blocker. Linebackers couldn't fill a gap to save their own mother. Safeties will lead the team in tackles. You should have the sad for even starting this thread.

I could become pope but it's doubtful

Lawson has missed most of the last 2 years with 2 serious injuries. The only point in time he's been 100% since 2013 was during the first half of the opener last year against Louisville, and he dominated.
Expecting him to come back from a serious hip injury (hips are kind of important to a pass rusher) before he was 100% and look like normal is asinine. Despite him still not being himself when he did come back, his presence alone impacted teams to the point where our D did a complete 180 because other teams still had to scheme around him and send double teams at it.
Garrett on the other, as far as I know has been 100% healthy throughout his entire career. He just sucks against any OT with a pulse.
Completely different situations. But you already knew that about Lawson. Btw, why was Chubb MIA last year?

ok. I am aware of this.

Ok. So tell me this. Which player is more effective? One that can't stay healthy and on the field, or one that is ineffective?
You just said that Lawson hasn't been healthy since he's been at Auburn. What makes you so sure he is going to stay healthy now?
When the Gurley verses Fournette arguments were being waged many of the Auburn posters said Gurley couldn't be counted on because he was injury prone. Gurley played more than Lawson, but all of a sudden Lawson is a key ingredient to a DL that will be "one of the best if not THE best DL in college football"?
This doesn't seem a bit hypocritical at all to you?

Thanks for making my point.

What did y'all have last year a whole 17 sacks?

Alabama lost two key pieces and will still have a better DL. By far.

Too bad the d-line coach is a half arse slacker/bagman who has a rich history of underachieving with highly ranked d-line recruits.
