A key word you mentioned is a “hair” more selective. It’s more like a hair on the tallest midget’s arse. Let’s say my buddies who studied business and law at Alabama are doing extremely well well for themselves. Auburn is more similar to Mississippi State than it is MIT or Harvard.

There’s more to it than that. Mississippi State was in the picture too. She could have almost attended school there essentially for free.

She was accepted to all three.

That’s great not sure what the frick that has to do with anything. The trailer park at Auburn is full so they can’t accept everyone you have to know how to remember how to breathe to get accepted.

Seriously Auburn grads acting like Auburn is MIT or Harvard is just a really bad look like living in a trailer in college and acting like your class. I would even say it’s a bad look for the entire state of Alabama so stop acting like a silly little bitch and embarrassing us.

Southlake and Plano have some serious $$$. You wouldn’t know that of course. I’m sure you wish you were more of a Highland Park type but nothing in Alabama is even close to Highland Park.

My sister went to Bama. I will say when I visited on gamedays- Tuscaloosa, tailgating and BDS was legit.

No doubt. It's a new money hub. The Indians love it over there nowadays.

Auburn at its base does indeed have higher acceptance standards than Bama right now. That’s just a statement of fact.

And I’m not saying Bama is a bad school. Again, literally have a kid there.

But I also agree with the earliest posts on this thread stating that this isn’t a flex.

My kid isn’t majoring in the strong suits Auburn offers compared to Alabama.her majors are marketing and finance with a minor in math.

And she can thrive at Alabama in those fields, and Bama was willing to finance her education more than Auburn was.

I’m not an Indian you dumb arse. The furthest place you’ve probably been away from Alabama is Atlanta. You are probably some racist redneck anyway.

Bud I've been to 49 states and 40+ countries. Believe me when I tell you you've got nothing on my experiences in life. I know Dallas so well that I could sniff the Frisco/Plano on you from 500 miles away and there's probably a dozen other major US cities I know even better.

Those are fine areas to live if you like that type of place. I'm not sure why you get so easily rattled over everything. Be you and move on.

That’s great man Bama has a better business school than Auburn. Most people outside of the south have never heard of Auburn or think it’s in Georgia. Along with the financial aide she definitely made the right choice.

That’s a hair elitist.

Traditionally Bama trains the businessmen and the lawyers (and the doctors, if you include UAB).

Auburn trains the agriculturist and the engineer.

There’s equal value there

Oh really? Then it should be easy to point out. What exactly have I said that's been disproven?

I freely admit that I am impressed by your ability to author post after post while not being able to fricking read.

Graduate at either one with a good GPA- that is good. What really matters is if you're into business is where you get your MBA. I can tell you Ole Miss just hands them out

Forbes lists Alabama’s Business School at #50 overall (both public and private) Auburn’s is unranked. It’s well known that schools pay US News to influence their ranking.

If you’re from Alabama you know that Bama is for business and law and Auburn is for engineering and veterinary science.

Earning your MBA from a reputable program is important but having key relationships, professional licensure and great experience is even more impactful.

AUTiger789 you are absolute joke bro. UT Knoxville has over 70 K first year applicants this year. Auburn around 55 K applicants. UT is slightly more selective. I really don’t care but you act like Auburn is some academic powerhouse. It’s really comical how highly you think of yourself. You’re an average SEC school. Your football program is irrelevant and now your basketball team is too. You get lucky like every 10 years and suck again. Auburn is our 4th best home game this year. No one really cares much about Auburn.

You seem happy again. Must be all that mediocrity in Tennessee that moistens your loins
