It's crazy how the outlook for this game has changed over the last two weeks. Before we played UK this looked to be a possible top 10 match-up; now it looks to be 2008 all over again with both teams' recent struggles. Glad I will have some booze with me at the game.

What scares me are the similarities between now and the 3-2 game. We came into that game with a #9 ranking and played one of the worst games ever. And then it continued for the rest of the season.

Hopefully both teams can get things turned around on offense; I just hope y'all wait a week longer than we do.

What exactly is going on with States offense this year? I haven't watched y'all but it seems things were going well the first few games. Is it coaching & scheme issues or did y'all lose a bunch of talent ?
Auburns is a loss of talent. 4 o-lineman are gone and Kerryon is gone. We also have some receivers out with knee injuries. Our line is atrocious. You'll hear some AU fans bitching about our outdated scheme, which I agree with, but we definitely lost a ton of experience and talent on offense.

We returned most of our guys from last year, so that isn't it. It seems to be more of a scheme issue and confidence issue on the line. Hopefully they can get it worked out.
Fitz's injury prevented him from getting the reps in the spring to progress as a passer. He seems to actually have regressed some and is pressing.

I think you'll upset them. 24-21 type of game.
I take it you haven't seen our last two games.

5 FGs and a safety.
Or one touchdown, then swinging gate for 2, and 3 FGs.

Gus said "again" on the radio today that they are working on it and will get it turned around. So, we got that going for us.
Our offensive guru said the exact same...it’s like a turtle race

I think I have the answer. Bob Shoop is cursed. Everywhere he goes, the offense turns into complete mush.
- He had the #2 defense in the nation at PSU, and Franklin and crew can't muster 3 yds per play.
- He goes to UT, and they set some kind of record for offensive futility.
- He comes to MSU to work for the guy that saved James Franklin's job at PSU, and the offense decides that 200 yards per game is plenty for anyone.
It's a curse... Plain and simple... Crucify Shoop and our offensive woes will be solved.

Agurn may not score 17 with that O-line.

We can win by 17..... if we play 8 quarters.

As a Buckeye fan, we can relate to this. Urban has seen better days running a power RPO and sideline jet sweep. The college game is passing him by. Look at the future of CFB. It will feature a return to the pass. Which is what QBs who are looking to go pro need to focus on anyways. At least with Stidham, he can run and has an intermediate passing game. OSU has a statue at QB who has a cannon for an arm. But he makes Cardale Jones look like Nick Marshall

This thread is incredible. Has tOrgeron broken the Auburn fanbase?

I can’t tell for sure, but they have been acting like a Stockholm syndrome captive for a little bit. They better get back up to face Bama. Maybe by that time they can find an o line and a running game.
