Were they Larry? Your father is going to resurrect and avenge you for killing him.

Got nothing to say bad about the kid. He is one of my favorite barners of all time. Love the way the guy played the game. I hate to see him on defense though bc he is electric with the ball in his hand. I kind of saw him more as a slot receiver.

I could see Chip Kelly utilizing him. Seems like he'd be a lot lower risk in a system like that.

I don't see why he isn't getting more Russell Wilson comparisons

Wilson is a system QB at best. His passing stats are average at best. If you put Nick Marshall in the Seahawks offense I could see him being effective?

Would he win a Super Bowl, that's questionable but he wouldn't be a bust

Mel Kiper

Stopped reading.

Monkeys throwing poo at a list of names would occasionally get a pick correct, but Kiper almost never does and hasn't throughout history.

Kiper's recent fails

A look at his past performance.

I don't think he's as fast as Wilson. He's slippery though.

He will be drafted as an athlete and could go that high, a la Pat White and Armanti Edwards.

I've seen him listed as draftable at positions such as running back, cornerback and safety.

Nick Marshall is probably faster than Russell Wilson, as he only runs a 4.55 (that is what he posted at the NFL Combine). We've all seen Nick Marshall outrun the likes of Landon Collins and other secondary players in the SEC. He's probably in the 4.4 to 4.5 range. He's not near the quarterback, though.

Maybe so, but he doesn't look like it when he runs. Wilson just looks quicker on the edge. Nick does have some break away speed once in the open.

Agreed. If he's got any hands at all, I can easily see him having a Julian Edelman/Matt Jones-esqe future in the league (well, Matt Jones without the coke).

Just don't see it. Combine that with off the field issues and I just can't see teams taking a chance on a guy like that when they could have guys without question marks who've actually played the position at a high level.

I really don't see him getting drafted at all.

Nick Marshall is kind of like Amari Cooper, faster than he appears. He just glides when he's in the open field. I feel like Russell Wilson is quicker on the edge, so I'll agree with you there.

I'm still amazed that Nick Marshall gets so much hype as a cornerback or safety. We've seen him run, we've seen him pass. He was a quarterback all through high school (set passing records), in Junior College and at Auburn. He was only a cornerback one year at Georgia. I think he's an exceptional athlete and scouts agree, but it's a tall task to ask him to make the switch after player there one year since being in high school.
