He was awful in 2001, pretty solid and got much better as the year went on in 2002 under Petrino, sucked in 03, and was the man in 04.
He had 2 good coordinators.

Markeith Cooper..... I got a pic of him somewhere. I had just graduated and was back at A-day with my brand new daughter (6 months old maybe). I was getting pics of her with some of the players. I handed her to Markeith who proceeded to show her his gold grill. She started laughing and grabbing at his face. That little $^#(*#er looks at me and says, "I'm like dat with ALL DA WIMENS!"

I've been to every SEC venue except Arkansas. Leaving the stadium that day was the only time I was actually a little scared leaving the game. There were fights breaking out even as the UGA fans started filing out in the 3rd quarter. I saw 2-3 fights and lots of near fights as we were leaving the stadium. Lots of really pissed off drunk Georgia rednecks surrounding the stadium that game just itching to punch something.
