man you guys are a trip. Is there any proof whatsoever to these claims? Yall act like richt is some kind of mafia head boss ordering hits and taking people out left and right. It's been 12 years and people still think richt told the whole team to run out in jax in 2007, I guess it's not surprising that people will jump to even further conclusions. Gotta say I've never heard of these 2 before though.

So, something like if Auburn did not count 1957 and 2010, UGA would have more NC... Facts are facts, of course we count engineering.. Why would that be excluded?
UGA gets to count their liberal blood-sucking lawyers, so I don't see the big deal.

Little brother acting up again? Pipe down Aubies you'll get you yearly loss on a couple of months

More people go to UGA. Simple statistics. Regression to the mean

We aren’t the ones crying. AU wants so much to be relevant again but until they can beat UGA and Bama no one is going to pay any attention to them. AU fans will be sobbing soon enough. UGA, Bama and LSU will see to that. Boo Hoo

I took this directly off the Athletic Department website. Where did you see yours?

Argue with the NCAA not us. I don't know what to tell you. I'm sorry it upsets you. of course, according to the NCAA we could claim 6 and Auburn 5.
Looks like Auburn loses again.
You'll catch up one day...well, probably not, but you can try.

And how exactly do they know this? Anyone filled out a salary info sheet for their school?

AU deserves credit for this - they only claim legitimate NCs - 2 of them. Sure some crazy websites claim more but not the University.

quote:Cost of living adjusted would change this picture. Bama is the state University, thus historically most of its grads stay in state. When this is checked in 10 more years it will change dramatically for Alabama because of all of the recent out of state students (~50%), many of whom return home. Many students now are from the NE, Texas, Cal, Chicago, etc.
Damn, bama at the bottom
By contrast many of AU's students come from Ga and Fla and return or go to Atlanta and Fla where the COL and salaries are higher than in the state of Alabama.
Alabama graduates Drs, lawyers, business, engineers, AU graduates Vets and engineers. Who makes more money? In my experience employers make no distinction between Alabama, Auburn, MSU, UGA, UF, etc. grads. They look at the kids individually. In fact, many don't even care if it's lesser schools - it's the individual. We didn't even care about a doctorate or Ivy League but some others, especially gov't agencies, might. We didn't even care much about experience but what kind of person were they and what thinking skills did they have. Experience might matter if it was for a specific project that needed immediate help. But we tried to avoid a long term hire based on a current need. I would prefer a contractor or consultant for that rather than a full time hire.
The salary comparison's are misleading without context.

Next time you ask yourself why the SEC keeps Vandy in the conference, look at this chart.

No, the University itself makes this claim..I linked it for you earlier. It’s not some crazy website, it’s the AU Athletic Departments website.

You have one NC. After 36, only wire service (AP and Coaches polls) are recognized by most.
UGA has 1980.
UGA has 1980.

Nah, UGA isn’t the littler brother in their state.

Same site, different part. Middle of the page. You can click on each season they claim as an NC, under it they have the NCAA record book as a source. Each link says “National Champion” at the top of the info on that year.

You are wrong. Sorry. The NCAA recognizes more. DWI.
Saying "by most" is laughable. Are you saying you have interviewed everybody in the country?
