I'd be highly shocked if we hired BMFP. These guys, whoever they are, don't have that much power.

Would the Hawg nation go into meltdown mode?

Other than the whole adultery thing, why would this be considered a bad hire?

A few of us are afraid that Bobby will take off after a few good seasons, for whatever reason, and leave us in shambles like he did with Louisville and Arkansas.

Some people would and some wouldn't. I would be a wouldn't- so, I'd just sit back and wait for the inevitable.

There would be a certain amount of crow served up for the auburn fan base. They spent months telling us how Bama "sold its soul" by hiring Saban.

Chiz is NOT LEAVING!!!! He will not leave a team after going 0-8 in the SEC and 2-10 overall. He will not leave a team currently under NCAA investigations. He will not leave a team after losing to its in-state rival by 56 points.

Just leave him alone. He needs to 'focus'. Big game this weekend to prepare for. His new QB needs to fully understand the 4 offensive plays he has at his disposal. Shhh...

Even though Auburn is a bit easier to recruit to than Arkansas, recruiting would be my major concern. He had a hard time recruiting here BEFORE this additional major hit to his reputation.

He wanted Petrino way back 8-10 years ago too. I know history repeats itself, but DAMN - surely AU has better sense than to hire BP.

Nope. We look forward to negatively recruiting against him. If he takes an SEC job, there will much, much more dirt come out.

If you think he recruited bad at arky, just wait until u see his recruiting classes at auburn, what momma would let their son play for him now? He would only be able to get 2 star players
