I agree 2004 LSU got screwed on the non pi call
But in 2016 that clock had clearly hit zero. Clearly. I saw it in real speed before the refs called it.

Seriously, only a totally blind homer thinks they got that snap off

And what is your stance on the PP7 INT?

I think 2006 was the “pass interference” game

2004 was the “falling on the center” game

Or maybe I am getting old

LSU is clearly better in that time frame . You should have used a later date like 2010 if you wanted to favor Auburn.

No you are correct. I was at the 06 game. So pissed. Probably the worst called game Jimbo had of his whole career here.

04 was a legitimate call but still a robbery as it was the only time the rule was ever enforced and it was removed/revised the week after that game.

Now here's where I show my age...it was an extra point, not a field goal correct? And we were only in this position bc we missed an xp previously?

I guess I’m confused about why you typed out all of those head to head statistics and still felt like you should submit the thread.
Yeah, every now and then I get what I think is a good idea for a topic and start researching it, then halfway through say, frick this, it's not going the way I want it to go.

Pro Tip for OP: Next time something similar happens to you, hit the back arrow on your browser, and not the "submit" button.

I can't tell you how many times I want to jump into a conversation to tell somebody they are wrong about something...then when I do the research find out they are right!

LSU by overall results. The head to head is pretty damn close- lots of those games were nail biters, both ways.

I explained that exactly.

Based on your stats, LSU.

I would also update the national championship category to show the games each team lost.

Had AU beaten FSU they would have the nod.
