Looks like LSU by a long shot, fellow Auburn fan.

For sure, less down seasons and an extra NC

I mean, not really. That USC team was absurdly good.

And from all the stats you posted, LSU looks to be the clear winner.

I mean, if you think 2 extra undefeated seasons and a Heisman Trophy outweighs an additional National Championship, an additional SEC Championship, and 4 extra H2H wins, then by all means claim it.

But any rational person would say LSU.

Ask us in another 10-15 years and it could easily change, but LSU's run from 2001-2011 is way too much for Auburn to overcome.

LSU. Not by some huge margin as we were really good from mid 2000s and our 2004, 2010, and 2013 seasons are as good as any of LSUs.

But they have been more consistent over that time frame.

I'll add this.. the four year stretch of 2004,2005,2006 and 2007 were four of the best, hardest fought games I've ever seen.

Sans a few years here and there, they have all been dramatic for the most part, since 2000. Hell even Auburns bad year in 2012, the game was intense to the end

As an AU fan I'll certainly say LSU because they have been more consistent but let's say AU won the title in 04 and LSU didn't "win" with 2 losses in 07.

Would flipping the titles from 2-1 in favor of AU be enough to overcome the other advantages for LSU?

LSU, they have been consistently good and a contender on the conference and national stage far more often than we have in that period of time. I think we will be the better of the two in the foreseeable future but LSU is always going to be very good.

Yes, but its all about the hardware. LSU has 2 trophies to Auburn's one since 2000. That's all that matters.

yes,and the 2008 game went to the end, too.

My point was 2004-2007 was like heavy weight fights. Great teams, hard fought,no prisoners. And down to the last play.

I mean the numbers seem to be pretty clearly in LSU's favor
