It think it was 2002 that the Bama SGA sang War Eagle but ended it by taking out a hidden Bama shaker and sang "You're Dixie's Football pride Crimson Tide!"

Why does it matter if the SGA president jokes around with the song? It's a sports rivalry. The dude is president of a student body, not something that actually matters or has any impact on anything. I don't see anything wrong with having a little fun with it as long as it isn't vulgar or disrespectful.

A good example of what I'm talking about with him pulling out the shaker at the end. That's the kind of thing that makes a rivalry fun. Bitching and moaning about the other school cheating is just annoying and adds nothing to it other than making ignorant rednecks angry.

I think they stopped that tradition last year but I could be wrong. I remember being pissed that nobody sang.
