Would love to have had that schedule. Cake-walk

Now? Sure.
They were formidable opponents when I was an undergrad.
(Colorado won a natty; Nebraska won two)
KState in the 90s wasn’t a gimme either.

Not sure why some of y’all argue this stuff.
It’s silly.

No it was not. It was Oklahoma and Texas and that is it. The SEC was Florida and UT during the 90s with Bama and Auburn being pretty damn tough. From 2000 it's been all SEC.

Nebraska was wrecking shite in the 90's

I would have thought so. But TexasAg7 suggested an A&M coach winning less than 60-16 is not considered a good coach. So guess the Bear wasn’t a good coach if he didn’t win big with all the advantages offfered as Aggie HC.

That may be true, but who gives a shite? That was then, this is now. The SEC is the premier conference in college football and has been for some time. The sec has always been tough and will always be tough. There's simply too much talent in the recruiting footprint of the sec to not be the best conference. I don't see it changing, I see the sec staying on top from here on out. Now, that doesn't mean there won't be a year or 2 where it's just down, but in the long run, the sec will remain the premier conference for college football.

No it's not. It's a one team league and a bunch of has-beens. That's why you have more people/coaches on the hotseat than a goddamn congressional hearing. You can't claim to be the premier conference when half of your coaches are getting fired. That's not how reality works.

What the hell does that have to do with anything? I'm correct, you're just sad and delusional.
