I know all of us are rooting for him to be fired.....
But paying up 77 Mil to have him fired will not be easy.

If their starting QB was healthy I had assumed they would be 10 win team this season but now it looks more like the ususal 8-4.

Say ATM booster muster 77 mil and fire fisher whom do they hire next ?
- Promote Bobby Petrino
- Lance Leipold
- Mike Elko
- Coach Prime

or some other Power5 Hot Name?
All these except for Bobby Petrino will need additional 75 Mil to land them.

So my best guess Fisher sticks around atleast until 2025 and for the most part they will an okay team at best(10 win). If for some reason he gets lucky and hires a great cordinator or two who can change the culture and game then may be ... just may be they can be better.

Until then ... LSU should be okay to go against the ATM and have an edge on the field. Recruiting will settle down in a couple years once NCAA creates some fundemental rules to be obliged by all.

For me BK is the best coach to have. He is mature and no BS kinda coach. I doubt we will have any scandals under him and will create a great culture for years to come

A&M most by 15 to Miami with their starter.

They were going to have same record regardless who is QB because of Jimbo

Not me. I hope they keep him until he retires.

Who wants Fisher fired? I just want them to lose 4-5 games every year

Wrong. In fact, you should take that sentence out. I stopped reading after that.

Prime, with A&M money, might be scary good!

A&M is not like LSU. The day they hired Jimbo, they likely put his buyout in a trust fund. They could easily pay his buyout without having to beg the big boosters for help.

He would recruit well, but he is a joke on game day.

With what? Their endowment that isn’t spent on athletics? I swear 90% of this board has no clue what they’re talking about and gasses up Texas A&M for no reason other than to parrot all of the other morons who do it.

Riddle me this: if Texas A&M is legitimately as rich as they pretend to be, why haven’t they won anything relevant in almost 100 years?

Their entire claim of being soooooo rich is based on their alumni desperately and obsessively donating to their endowment fund at a disproportionate level to try to keep up with Big Bro Texas. Their average grad salary is lower than Vanderbilt, their crown jewel business is smaller than Cane’s, and reality generally doesn’t agree with them having an unlimited amount of money.

They have a culture of desperately overspending on recruits so they can win at something in football, and a culture of desperately donating to their endowment so they can keep up with Texas at being “rich” which is intangible and unverifiable as an institution. We could have a huge endowment too if we were a cult and forced every grad to prioritize donations there

I think you need to re-evaluate this statement. I can assure you that if you truthfully want him to be fired as an opposing fan, you are in the minority. A very small minority. I hope he stays there until he retires an bleeds them dry.

Why do we want him fired? What if they get a competent coach. We don’t need another on the schedule. I enjoy hating 8&4 because of Dumbo. He compliments the weird A&M cult of cringe perfectly.

A&M - 18 Billion dollar endowment
LSU - 625 million

They have bigger donors who, at this time, are flush with Oil and Gas $$.

They can afford to spend big money on NIL, as seen in their recruiting rankings, but that isn't the same as firing your head coach and starting over again. If the right guy was available, Jimbo would be gone in a nanosecond. Money isn’t the issue, it’s the lack of a plan/person to get the donors to agree on paying the buyout. No one wants to look look a chump being used for money.

Exactly. If “they can buy him out no problem…” then why don’t they ?

And yea if all that money exists and it’s fair game for athletics then you’d think they’d be a powerhouse in something besides their meat judging team

This is the perfect weekend for A&M to win. Kicks Ole Miss out of the west race and maybe gets his seat cooler for beating a top 10 team on the road. Pinch your nose and root for Aggy

If they have the means but won’t pay it, they are just paying for all of this public embarrassment. aTm has been the running joke in CFB for years now. Recruits have initially ignored because of cash, but that’s even falling apart.
