Football's Nastiest Rivalry

I call BS on the Nastiest Rivalry thing anyway. MSU and OM fans don't care about football, at least not when compared to Bama and Auburn fans. I'm talking about lifestyle affecting, skin-in-the-game actions by boosters. MSU and OM have a handful each, but nothing like the big programs.

I've lived in a few different places around the country, and the dislike between Florida and Florida State fans is the ugliest I've experienced.

The Egg Bowl is filthy. Gets better and better. Has to lead the nation in most fights over the last 2 or 3 years.

I'm the only living MSU alum in my family, but everyone watches the game with me on Thanksgiving. This year, with the score 28-3 in the 3rd quarter, there was some grumbling that maybe we could switch the channel. I said, "This is the Egg Bowl; anything could happen!", and about 5 minutes later the fight broke out.

Once all the dust settled from the fight, I offered to let them change the channel and everyone just replied, "Are you kidding? This game just got interesting!"
