One more thing, anyone remember Kniles Davis?

What does that have to do with anything?

I'm guessing that the Athlon rankings aren't useful because no one, in fact, remembers him.

never heard of him...He had a cousin that led the SEC in rushing for RB's at one time or another.

How in the hell is Kelvin Taylor ranked AHEAD of Matt Jones, our current starter? Kelvin will be special but come on man...

by season's end Blue may be #1 in the conference.

Lol. With Hill in the jail cell, you guys needs a new undeserved preseason Heisman candidate.

10th in the conference?

All you need to know about our running backs is: the two returning averaged 5.8, and 5.9 yards per carry...

Brandon Williams may be more talented than both, and Manziel led the SEC in rushing... No disrespect to anyone else, but you should VOLUNTARILY quit posting.

I don't think anyone cares if casual fans know their teams running Backs as long as they are producing at a high level.

Oh yeah, A&M's new offensive coordinator was the RB coach, and the Williams' and Malena will be a larger part of the offense - especially with a younger group of receivers.

Watch tape of the Cotton Bowl...

Seeing all those freshmen on there made me cringe. I think Jalston Fowler will be a top 10 back this year

Brandon Williams is at worst, the fifth best RB in the SEC. Bookmark it.

Derick Henry won't even be in our 2 deep.

Meh, this time last year Yeldon was essentially the fourth back. I'm hoping DH can jump Drake.

Nobody in SEC knows or will know your RB's from Adam.

But does it matter? Particularly in light of the fact that those who compile reputable RB rankings (according to you) know of them?

Im still not sold on DH being all that.

He is just so tall for a RB and by many accounts he shies away from contact. I really hope I am wrong. We shall see.

I agree with the list but how do you put freshman in there who haven't played a game yet?

You got it, even you can understand that - especially you.

Ask all the LSU fans from last year who were convinced that Hill and Magee were gonna be great backs without playing a down.

Meh, Josh Robinson will way more impact for us this year that LP. Perkins is good at option plays but not an every down back like State is used to. JR gonna hurt some mofos this year

I doubt he'll start next year whether or not he's better than Perkins.
