No one who has had to sit through a game at Neyland with someone's knees in their backs, or not been able to get up and down the steps because they aren't wide enough for two-way traffic, or had to stand up every time someone goes up and down the steps because the seats literally have your feet in the aisle, would ever rate Neyland Stadium in the top 50% of stadiums in the conference,

I'm happy Neyland has been such a terrible experience for you. I want all non Tennessee fans to have a horrible experience in that stadium, especially when TN starts to win again. I figure there is a 50% chance you are morbidly obese. That combined with the fact that you are an Alabama fan means I have zero % sympathy for you. The seats aren't that cramped. It's an old building. Quit bitching like a woman.

Thanks Louisiana Longhorn. Sounds like we are both Louisiana transplants to Texas. I will be in Tiger Stadium for the Aggie game. My last time there was the Tennessee game.

The game we lost and then won? Good times.

I knew, I just knew, that Miles was going to fired right after that game. Probably that very night.

Who said it was a terrible experience? Just because the place is a dump that was built with an erector set doesn't mean that we don't have awesome experiences there.

Hell, I even bought season tickets there in 2010, but I couldn't even give away the non-Alabama tickets.

You really need to get out more and get to some other stadiums.

The concessions are nice. But the atmosphere of the stadium is terrible.

Auburn has a much better environment in J-H.

Not surprised Kyle is getting bagged on by some folks here. We had bad time slots for our biggest games last year and most folks who came got to sit in some of our ridiculously bad seats that will soon be gone.

The new Kyle will be much bigger, much louder and enclosed, and much, much nicer. Too bad they will stop comparing stadiums after this article.

Rumor is they used "quantity of bat shite present" as a very important metric, hence the tackle box scoring so well.

Maybe after this high of a rating they can get the damned lighting fixed. Feels like going to a giant version of a shitty grocery store in the delta every time I have ever been there.

I like it this way. I don't want our fans getting soft on comfy plush seating and fancy concession stands or bathrooms with an attendant or some shite.

Keep that fricker Spartanlike

it's year 2013 and none of you motherfrickers have 100k+ stadium. UT had one for 18 years. edit: Bama got jelly and they recently added capacity to 100k in 2010.

DWS could hold 108,000 right now if we applied the Tennessee method of stadium expansion.

Kentucky below Mizzou??? I know Mizzou is doing renovations, but UK's stadium is nice for it's size.

ETA: Arkansas should be higher!

Only because you pack your stadium with mexican soccer moms with cowbells. Ain't nobody got time for that, and I'd enjoy the view at Ole Miss before subjecting myself to that soccer fan shite show.

Pfff, completley subjective list.

However no way in hell you can have Tennessee above some of those stadiums.

That thing is a piece of crap. It's large and has a scenic setting, but is still a piece of crap.

It looks old and rusty and has uncomfortable seats and a huge number of seats have obstructed views, it feels more like a dungeon than a stadium.

How could I have ever misinterpreted all your bitching about aisle space and knee room as having a terrible experience? Were the women's restrooms also too dirty? And what Alabama fan buys season tickets to UT football? I'd rather flush my money down the toilet then give any of it to your school. And how would you know how many venues I've been to? I'm a college football fan. I enjoy epic venues with great tradition and atmosphere. I don't sit around and marvel at the architecture or how wide the seats are. People who say Neyland sucks are either Tennessee haters or haven't been to a game there before 2008 when the program tanked.
