Friendly reminder female swimmer of the week Isabel Ivey's dad is a child raping piece of shite, that UF hired after the fact. They covered up a lot of extremely shitty behavior of his, until espn outed him. His lifetime ban took another 20 years, most of it was spent coaching at high schools

another uaa special, if it was football or men’s basketball they would’ve avoided like the plague but since it’s swimming they cover it up since UF is now #NonRevenueU

Here you go crybaby.

Mitch Ivey was chosen to replace Randy Reese as the head coach of the Florida Gators swimming and diving team of the University of Florida, and led the Gators women's team from 1990 to 1993. During his three seasons as Florida's coach, the Lady Gators swimmers won the Southeastern Conference (SEC) championship three consecutive years, and finished third, third and second nationally at the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. He was also recognized as the SEC Coach of the Year for three consecutive seasons.

The University of Florida Athletic Association released him in October 1993 following an episode of the ESPN television show Outside the Lines which recounted Ivey's history of romantic involvement with several of his previous swimmers before he became a coach at the University of Florida, and made allegations of sexual harassment against him. Ivey had been previously married three times, including his second wife who was an 18-year-old swimmer at the time he married her. Ivey denied the charges of misconduct, saying "I was told that putting my arm around a girl and using foul language was deemed reason enough [for the University of Florida to fire him]." ESPN did not interview Ivey, nor did he answer on air any of the allegations by ESPN. His Florida women's swimmers issued a unanimous statement supporting him, and stated publicly they did not complain about nor witness any inappropriate behavior.

Regardless I don't think this has anything to do with her anyway.

The golf freshmen both look much older than what I would expect freshman to look like. But pretty cool to see Ian Poulter’s son on the list. I always enjoy following the senior Poulter at the TPC.

Bruh, I literally know mitch. I've heard him make comments about underaged girls post uf firing. Sorry calling a spade is so offensive to you. Don't worry, I totally won't bring up your previous coach, Gregg Troy, and the fact he married an 18 year old former h.s. swimmer of his. A lot of sus behavior getting hired around the uf pool Anthony is a good dude I have nothing negative to say about, other than he worked for a groomer for a quarter century.

The guy is a Big Disney Gator (it’s literally his username) so don’t mind him. Those Disney gators get mad when the uaa is called out for shady shite with non revenue sports but then also get as defensive when the uaa is called out for sabotaging football and men’s basketball z

It’s like they go to a Disney Gator training program, they all say the same talking points. Maybe they go to something like what fish camp is for A&M students.

You have me confused with someone else if you think some sort of scandal at the University of Florida has me worried. This thread was made to promote the Southeastern conference athletes of the week. None of the things that either of you two bozos are bringing up have anything to do with the athletes, so probably better to start your own thread if you want to throw some shade.

I would defend an Alabama swimmer if someone tried to do the same, as it has nothing to do with the school.

You have me confused for someone else. This isn't a Florida thread.

Meh, if I am picking from the swimmers, I would go with the Georgia diver.
