hurt them in the playoff rankings? Or does it? At least UGA has a solid win over ND. Not flaming anyone, just wondering.

Bama’s dynasty run buys them a pass, don’t you think?

Haven’t they proven themselves worthy?

Not until you lose one.

Sad thing is Alabama will be undefeated and still not have a quality win after this weekend.

Bama gets a pass because Bama is the reason that the rest of the SEC no longer count as quality wins.

This is a joke, right? The answer to your question is never. We are Alabama. We always get the benefit of the doubt.

If they win out, it doesn’t. If they win the SEC, even with one loss, it probably doesn’t.

Would at least somewhat come into play if they lose to Georgia in a close game, but the not winning the conference thing would hurt them the most in that scenario.

Probably spot on here. They simply haven't played the type of schedule this season to give them a pass in if they lost a game.

Look, I'm a Tiger fan but also a Saban fan. While I have no problem answering yes to this, I'm not sure a late season loss (like the SECCG) wouldn't do enough harm to knock them out.

This. UA passes the eye test. They could survive a single in season loss, but need to beat UGA in the SEC CG.

UGA is in best shape (outside of an indy ND, of course) to survive 1 loss and not be a conf champ.

UA will not make CFP without the SEC title.

At what point do you consider Bama having a quality win? Will it be after they beat LSU, MSU or Auburn? just wondering.

If Bama beats LSU, MSU, AU & UGA, will any of those be considered quality wins?

(Hint: They're all ranked now)

It doesn't matter what I think at the end of the day. But in my opinion, their first opportunity to pick that win up will be against UGA in the SECCG. Hopefully, UGA doesn't crap the bed like they've been known to do over the years and we get two undefeated teams in the SECCG.

Ranked, yes. Quality opponents, no.

Next weekend over a team that lost to Troy won't help.

No you dick smoker...I'm attempting to have a conversation about Bama and the fact that they don't have a quality win this season. It's really sad what this board has become. Everyone assumes that if you start a thread, it's simply to take a shot at another program.

Sad.
