This is flawed logic. The lack of quality of schedule does not translate to a lack of quality of the team in question. Playing and beating some quality opponents proves that a team like Georgia belongs, but not playing quality opponents does not prove that a team like Alabama does not belong. Alabama could play 12 straight FCS opponents and everybody in the college football universe would still understand they are one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the land.
