They're not.

Ole Miss will beat them.

MSU has a 6 point win at Troy. In front of 30,000 people. Much more impressive than road win at Fayettenam.

Up until this weekend, I thought State had a better defense than OM. Now, I am not so sure about that.

To me, they seem pretty even.

That said, I give OM the edge. If the Egg Bowl were played next weekend, I think we win based on revenge, momentum, and home field advantage. Thats just my gut.

OB At this point it is pretty tough to say. Hugh has made great strides in year one and any State fan who says different is way to big of a homer.

QB I think is a big difference so far. Bo has played well but tyler is a notch above right now.
Turnover margin, the way we hold on to the ball will keep us in a lot of games.
Will say the Rebels have the most explosive play maker on the field though

We'll know more after A&M beats the cowbells by more than 3.

State will close the year out without another win. Too bad they aren't in Sun Belt

I really could care less about people's opinion on which team is the 'best team in the State of Mississippi' at this point in the season. It will be settled on the field November 24th.

I'll step aside and let the bitching and bashing of fanbases continue.
