I would rather get a love tap from the NCAA enforcement arm like y'all got at Bama and LSU than the public crucifixion Auburns integrity got

I like Cameron in the NFL. He is funny, cocky, a bit of an a-hole in his own special way, but usually does the right things off the field.

Ya he probably generated some income for his pops, but what are you gonna do about it.

Time to move on.

You guys got off incredibly easy with the Cam investigation AND the Eric Ramsey case which for all the wailing and gnashing of teeth resulted in almost no schollies being lost. Alabama had to give up 21 wins and forever because of a stupid textbook "violation". The exact same textbook violation that Nebraska committed recently and received zero penalty for. Only very recently has the NCAA started giving Alabama the same benefit of the doubt they've afforded Auburn for the last 20 years.

Two year post-season ban, no television for one year........or a few schollies.....which is worse?

quote:

The NCAA infractions committee hit the school with one of its toughest penalties in recent years in the wake of charges that a former player received cash from Auburn coaches and boosters.

quote:

Auburn was placed on two-years' probation and will be banned from postseason play for the next two years. In addition, Auburn also received a one-year television ban, a seldom-used sanction in the 1990s. The ban is for this year, but it may be pushed into next season because of the school's contractual commitments.

Got off easy with the Cam investigation? Not sure being the center of a witch hunt for something you were deemed innocent/no proof of is easy.

The Eric Ramsey debacle had us post season banned during an undefeated season, lost scholarships and no tv. How in the world do you think that is an easy punishment?

Funny how your very first "fact" isn't even a fact.

WEIRD.

You're joking right. I mean I get that you guys think he is a living god amongst men, so I guess this means he is infallible as well.

1- Cam Newton never was convicted of stealing the laptop and official story is he bought it from someone who did, unknowingly.

Of course, I mean if I buy something second hand off of someone and the cops are at my door the first thing I do is throw it out the window

quote:

His dad solicited money from Miss St. To shop something around is to attempt to find the best deal which implies multiple parties in order to find the "best." Since he only approached MSU his dad never "shopped" him around

OMG you people are freaking delusional.

Its "you're" dummy. You're is a contraction of "you are" as in "you are joking". Your is a possessive pronoun. As in "Cam, that is not your laptop"

The postseason ban wasn't easy but everything else was. Auburn suffered almost zero on the field drop off from the almost non existant scholarship "penalty" so there was almost no long term effect. Alabama, on the other hand, was gutted with scholarship losses during both the Langham and Means penalty case. I'd much rather receive a one year TV ban and very light scholarship losses instead of the heavy scholarship losses and vacated games Alabama received.

so he doesn't know what you're/your is and you don't know what a fact is.

tit for tat.

Alabama just had a coach admit to loaning money to players and received zero punishment. The same offense was committed by Auburn under Pat Dye and cost them 2 years TV ban and bowl ban. Alabama fans have absolutely zero room to talk

So you are speculating about the factual information not providing facts which are not up for interpretation?

You would think after years if people searching someone would have a shred of evidence of Cam being "shopped" to Auburn. Fact is that the only confirmed team Cecil solicited for money was MSU. Speculation is that he asked multiple teams.
