Sure there was, you're just way too defensive to notice it.

I admire the Auburn fans who laugh and DGAF about the cheating. I dont care about teams that cheat.

I prefer defending Cam's proven 100% innocence because its more fun to me to see the reactions from guys like you when I do.

"Nooooooooooo he cheeeeeeeaaaaaaaaated!!!!! EVERYBODY KNOOOOOOOOOOWS IIIIIIIIIIIT ADMIT ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!"

Priceless.

Yep...we were over the salary cap in 2010, luxury tax really hurt us in 2011 and 2012

Our defense was better than theirs that year. The only real studs they had on that defense was Nick Fairly. Cam carried them to the promised land.

Your front 7 wasn't better than ours. We gave up the fewest number of rushing yards in the SEC

If Cam would have never been paid then he would have played under Mullen at State so what would YOUR opinion of him be.

Look just because the NCAA, HBO, and whatever other news outlets that were there didn't find any evidence doesn't mean it didn't happen.

So what you are saying is that for you ATPB True Believers, it's an article of faith and not fact.

Correct?

I don't think Newton was paid at AU but I do think he knew all along that his father was acting as his agent and even if he didn't the SEC ignored their own rules to keep him eligible. Regardless, he is an a-hole. AU fans don't want to admit it because he is their Godlike figure but its not just fans of other SEC schools that think this. Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com reports that AFC Pro Bowl players went after Newton especially hard in last season's game because of how the Carolina Panthers quarterback acted during the week.

Prisco is one of the guys that laughed at the Panthers picking Newton #1 overall and claiming that Gabbert, Ponder, and Locker would be better NFL QBs, so he has ALWAYS had heavy skin in the anti-Cam game.

And do me a favor and point out the direct quotes from AFC players claiming this.

Oh... no player had the guts to put their name on such a claim?

Yeah, that's what I thought. About as reputable a claim as the "Cam cheated on exams at Florida" one.

Yeah, Ray and Cam hate each other so much.

There wasn’t much hesitation from Ray when he gave his opinion on who he thought the best overall prospect entering the 2011 NFL Draft was.

Lewis resoundingly said, “Cam Newton!”

In addition, the 15-year veteran of the Ravens had only the best to say about the former Auburn Tiger.

“I’m a fan. I’m a real fan of Cam Newton’s. We will have to see where he lands. I hope that it’s with a team that really gives him an opportunity to display his talents—but I love the kid and what he stands for," Lewis said. "I love the way he handles all the stuff he’s going through, and I just love the way he plays football.”

https://bustedcoverage.com/2012/06/12/wait-is-that-ray-lewis-chasing-cam-newton-with-a-paintball-gun-photos/

quote:

Here is Ray Lewis with a (paintball) gun. Yes, he’s chasing dudes with his 4.4 speed or whatever his 40 time is these days and trying to put a paintball straight through their backs. That’s him, #52, over the weekend at some event where NFLers came together to play paintball with kids. Cam Newton was there. The other combatants aren’t important. What’s important is that Lewis has a (paintball) gun in his hands.

But the kicker here is that this weekend paintball tourney was in Ray Ray’s backyard. Not kidding, right off his back porch in Maryland.

Cam at Ray Ray's house playimg paintball.

Good ol' fashioned hate.

What is hearsay? I mean it is a fact he stole the laptop. It is fact his Dad shopped him.

It was fun watching the boogs meltdown after AU admitted that Cecil Newton solicited money for Cam (but, but, but, the REC!).

AU never seemed to admit that they asked Aubutn for money, just that they asked MSU. Even a MSU booster admits it. If anything, seems like MSU deserves the most attention.

Also, updated thread name. Felt appropriate

Funny how your very first "fact" isn't even a fact.

Why let "facts" get in the way of a good story?

Neither one of your statements are facts.

1- Cam Newton never was convicted of stealing the laptop and official story is he bought it from someone who did, unknowingly.

2- His dad solicited money from Miss St. To shop something around is to attempt to find the best deal which implies multiple parties in order to find the "best." Since he only approached MSU his dad never "shopped" him around
