Joe Shad (?) said that the NCAA has the right to demand copies of JM's bank records or face being hit with a non compliance charge. If that's the case, unless he got his $$$$$ in cash, there's a record somewhere. But Shad also noted that the NCAA has no subpoena powers & cannot make any one testify. It's all well & good that aggies here are saying that the NCAA needs proof before anything happens, but you can ..bank on it...that the NCAA will tell the aggies to either step up to the plate & work with them or risk being in their dog house down the road. But totally as an aside, there was a comment made by one of the talking heads that this same broker had his picture taken..date stamped...with N.Dame's Golden Boy, T'ao, the week of the NCG.

correct. student athletes have to sign a lot of stuff giving the ncaa permission to check things if they ever choose or need to.

So, can anyone tell me where the case is leaning towards as far as who wins. Manziel or NCAA

If JFF is suspended, expect a massive lawsuit from Paul Manziel et al against NCAA/ESPN. Ed Obannon style.

Manziel's dad seriously seems like a massive stuck up pussy from what I gather

So are we gonna see the Cecil rule in action?!
:kern:
I still think it's ridiculous they treat people selling their own autographs like they are murderers and they let sketchy people who are probably murderers play, but whatevs. RuleZ iZ RuleZ!

SInce Paul thinks the school has not done enough...I see a "If we go down, everyone goes down." type of lawsuit.

Very hard to tell where this ends up but the primary reasons I think it will blow over are:
1. The pics are only of autos and they don't add up to the story being told. You could probably Google more incriminating photos of Johnny signing autos that would at least be time appropriate.
2. This happened in Jan and Johnny and A&M have clearly known about it for a while and yet they are letting him practice today. If they thought he was in real danger of going down he would be suspended.
He still may go down but those 2 things don't add up. I mean this pic of Johnny is more incriminating looking:
It was taken of him after he won at a Casino.

Between losing the lineman and the jm bullshite, Summlin looks worn out

I doubt they've been investigating since March without Sumlin not knowing.
So there goes the theory that this is winding down

if said person is in the NCAA, they can. it only applies to outside the NCAA
