Implies an actual "hunt". In this case the witch is making it easy to find him.

That said, I doubt anything comes of this beyond repayment and 2 games suspension.

So, who is A&M's backup QB?

A true freshman, a RS freshman, and apparently a Jr who has never seen more than mop up snaps.

Their legit backup transferred to UTEP.

AJ Green and Terrelle Pryor both got 4 games for a lot less than 10k+ in cash.

The thing that hurts him is that there are so many autographed items and they are being authenticated. Nobody would do all that for free especially JFF

Hope Sumlin is working on this on an otherwise lazy Sunday afternoon and evening.

The Miami President basically laughed in the NCAA's face during the hearings about the Shapiro crap. If the NCAA is that inept about Miami, then nothing will come of this.

Charles Allan Wright is long dead.

Exactly. There's already a precedent. If these allegations are true Manziel's getting 4 games at least, which means A&M gets their shite kicked in by Bama and are out of the title race before it really even began.

And in an ironic twist, we have to play him this year

That and they all went up for sale at the same time.

The problem the NCAA has is that aTm boosters paid the memorabilia dealer off a long time ago.

Sure they would. The article just posted about him says that he's been signing literally thousands of items for his parent's friends in East Texas.

If A&M needs a roadmap on how to keep a star player eligible when images of a star player signing autographs that were later sold online surface, they need only look to Alabama, who disputed all suggestions that star players had been paid for autographs by asserting that while players had signed autographs no player had ever been paid for those autographs. Since no one could prove that players had been paid or received any items of value, there was no NCAA violation for signing autographs that were later sold.

Here is the problem.

The guy paying Trent, Julio, and Ingram was a GUMP. He would probably die before rolling on his beloved Tadd.

The people involved here have no allegiance to A&M.

As I said, I hope nothing comes of it and we get to see how JFF plays this year.

However, this is a much more dangerous situation on its surface that ttown's menswear. And the ttwon thing had people at bama (including boosters) about to shite on themselves. I know that for a fact.

And I guess they all gave the items to the man that had been accused of paying him for them

CBS and ESPN have too much money to make off Manziel's games, ergo, if suspended it will be only for first 2 games as they are not TV games. Too much money involved for him to miss Bama game.
