1. flung racial slurs at a minority.

2. was involved in a 2 or 3 on 1 fight with that same minority individual.

a shoving match that led to a night int he drunk tank. happens all the time to college kids.

3. Sported 2 Fake ID's
4. Presented them to the police

again something many a college kid has done. So what?

None of this is something that hurts the rep of the school b/c it happens all over the place.

No seriously, what in the world has he done that hurts A&Ms rep?

Well, let's see. He apparently took money for his signatures from at least 3 brokers - these are the ones we already know of, there could be more. This was done at the BCSCG, and a few days later in Connecticut. (There was also a story no one paid attention to about him signing autographs for a broker when he was Alabama for last season's game, but we'll ignore that for now.)

So, 2 incidents that we know of in January, 2013. On March 6, Texas A&M's AD media department released a statement that Johnny had never knowingly signed anything that was intended for sale, and that Johnny denied ever accepting money for his signature. So, he lied, and made Texas A&M complicit in the lie.

He's set Texas A&M up for possible NCAA sanctions. There's one way he's hurt A&M's rep.

nobody said that

and dunno why you'd try to throw a blow like that when you are repping a team that is led by a guy who fricks his teammates wife.

Oklahoma fans talking about football players being saints? Now I've seen it all.

Do you recall that OU football player that was roid raging and beat the shite out of his roommate?

It's understandable, bro. That Cotton Bowl loss should still sting for a while longer...

The kid sold some autographs. The average Joe will think that is an idiotic rule and come down harder on the NCAA than they ever will A&M.

but the average joe does not have authority over college football programs. the ncaa likes it's rules

The face of OU's athletic department is arguably the best football player on the planet (AD). While the face of A&M's is a thug Heisman winner who wishes he was at Texas.

Every program has problems with players. But not every program has the problem of having their Freshman phenom Heisman winner facing ineligibility.
