Agreed. It doesn't really matter what house the mortgage was on if someone paid it off for him.
Not sure why Brooks is pushing this. He seems to be questioning Suttles's investigative work based solely on the release statement from the bank, while Suttles actually researched the records at the probate office. Not sure if Suttles saw the release Brooks is harping, but I'd guess he did and backcheked the actual property tied to it.

And don't forget, Peach's statement about having his house paid off 15 years ago was a direct response to the accusations that he had a mortgage paid off when Calloway committed. If anyone's playing semantics, it's Peaches. Lee never said it was his primary mortgage, that's all a red herring.

Seriously, you guys are starting to remind me of the ATPB freaks. You better grab hold of reality before it slips completely through your fingers. If you want a glimpse of what you will be like if you go down this path, go read some of ATPB anywhere past about page 1000. They lost their sanity LONG before then but around 1000 I think is where they started performing dark rituals and talking to the dead.
