Was it worth getting shut out by Alabama in back to back home games? Was it worth getting beat by Troy? Was it worth getting beat 37-7 to Mississippi State? Was it worth scoring 72 points and still lose? Was it worth it? Worth it!!!!

They're actually 1-18 this century. They were gifted a win vs LSU in starkville in 1999 (which is last century) on a bs td call late in the game on 4th down where their rb was down at the 1 and literally crawed into the end zone to win the game. It wouldn't have held up in the replay era for sure. Anyone who saw that game knows LSU got jobbed and should have won that game. So, yeah, state has only beaten LSU 1 time this century. LSU owns state and will always own state.
