No doubt. Honestly impressive

Meh. Maybe my standards are a bit higher after watching VOLS void a coaching hire and get a sitting AD tossed out into the street on his arse

The Vols fans definitely have more testosterone than LSU folks. Vols don't cook up impotent protests, they man up and take care of take care of business.

That'd hurt LSU in the long run. Temporary reinstatement of Wade would look foolish when more allegations come out.

My guy said before the NCAA tournament selections. Maybe Saturday or Sunday? He's not being as specific as before.

LSU's lawyers respond to Wade's request for reinstatement:

LINK

quote:

The school responded to Wade’s statement Thursday during an interview with Sports Illustrated. “In everything that’s been said by Will and his folks in the past week, not once have they denied any wrongdoing,” says Tom Skinner, the school’s general counsel. “As a university and employer, we need to hear our employee say, ‘I didn’t do anything wrong,’ or explain the circumstances or admit he did do something wrong. We’ve been unable to get to that point. We have no choice, in terms of institutional control, to not suspend someone.”

That would give it the most exposure though. The whole nation will tune in to see the ncaa seeds and just before that.. KABOOZOM.. More shite on Wade comes out and hopefully UNC.

Can't we get even one student to slip some drugs in Alleva's pocket and tip off police? Or one person who has had contact with him (male or female) who can allege sexual harassment? If he won't resign, we need to force him out. Whatever it takes.

Why can't Wade just say he is innocent, he did nothing wrong and broke no NCAA rules?

It sounds like that's all the LSU brass want from him. they want assurance that Wade's actions didn't expose the institution to NCAA investigation resulting in sanctions. He probably doesn't have to go into every detail about his phone conversations, just tell his superiors that he did nothing wrong.

NCAA is officially on the ground in Baton Rogue per Ross Dellenger.

quote:

Ross Dellenger @RossDellenger Replying to @RossDellenger and @SInow The NCAA has requested to be a part of all interviews on this matter, #LSU says, and the words "institutional control" are key in the decision to suspend Wade. NCAA enforcement is on the ground here

Yeah, WW's only hope of getting any more $ from LSU is to ride this thing out and pray for a miracle

I haven't seen it officially reported anywhere. I must have missed it. Last I saw, you guys were saying the NCAA wanted to be on the call when the Admin talked to Wade.

Because he is smart. This is an FBI matter foremost and if I were him I wouldn't say a thing at all.

Now there are rumors of something much bigger than Wade paying Smart. LSU could become a dumpster fire soon.
