Interesting. I know a lot of people connected with Eric and they have said basically the same thing. He did indeed turn down Arizona last year. His wife and daughter love living in Northwest Arkansas.
I'm hearing there is going to be a major renovation at Bud Walton Arena soon. They're going to try and keep capacity at 19k.

LSU will have trouble recruiting top tier prospects if what I'm hearing is true. Word's going around that Woodward lied to Matt McMahon about the severity of the situation to get him to take the job. McMahon isn't thrilled at the moment to say the least.

Conference championships don't mean a thing in basketball, especially when your team constantly get's knocked out the first weekend. Eric will win a national championship at Arkansas very soon.

Gonzaga's fanbase is 90 percent bandwagon. They have a huge following in LA, mostly the same people that follow the Lakers when they're good. The bandwagoners are use to NBA defense, so when an elite and physical college team plays the Zags, they think they're mugging them the entire game and the refs let Arkansas get away with abuse.

Musselman and Oats were never going to take the Louiville job.
Look for Mike Brey or Kevin Willard to take the Maryland job as soon as their respective teams are bounced from the NCAA tournament.
Missouri is also looking at Willard.
Everything else is quite as of now.

I know Mussleman's people. His wife and daughter love Northwest Arkansas. He won't be relocating any time soon. They have the number two rated class coming in and will likely get another 5 star player in this class. Arkansas has an elite arena, fairly new practice facility, a fanbase that loves basketball, and a state that produces four and five star HS basketball players every year. Plus I'm hearing he'll get another raise after the NCAA tournament is over.

The only job Musselman ever leaves Arkansas for is a west coast NBA job.

He's not going anywhere anytime soon. Musselman and his wife love Fayetteville. They are legit national title contenders next year with the right grad transfer(s). His freshmen this year are great players and will only get better.

Indeed. Musselman knew Arkansas had the fan support, in state recruiting and facilities that blue bloods have, yet without fans expecting a final 4 every year. That was the main reason he was eyeing the Arkansas job well before they even fired their previous coach. Keep him happy and he'll stay for a long time.
Brad Stevens is seriously considering the IU job.

Eric Mussleman loves his current situation at Arkansas. Elite facilities, huge basketball fanbase, and the state produces top notch talent. The Arkansas AD and Musselman are already in talks of a new contract, which includes a massive raise and incentives. His wife hates cold weather.
Nate Oats is happy at Alabama as well.
Both coaches will be back at their respective schools next season.

He's in the know. LSU and Arizona will get NOA's within a few months. The hammer will fall on both programs, but this will take over a year to happen. Thus giving the LSU faithful even more confidence and group think that nothing will happen.

Vitale's sources are right. Everyone just give it time. These major scandals take a long time to investigate. I can now confidently say that Arizona and LSU will get hit with major sanctions within one-two years.

The NCAA seems to think something is going on across the entire LSU athletic department. I'm talking football, basketball, baseball, etc. There is smoke.
If I were a fan of LSU, I'd pray to god that only the basketball program is affected by this scandal.
