I think it was being swept under the rug because Earle Bruce is his grandfather. Bruce passed away in April and she went to the police in I believe it was May. It very much appears there was a cover-up with his actions.

Meyer has said numerous times that Earl Bruce is the second most prominent man in his life.

If Meyer is out, who replaces him? Matt Campbell?

Why am I not the least bit surprised college football fans would blame the victim. Police came to their house 9 friggin' times in the last 6 years and Meyer's wife knew a few years ago. Who here knows any wife who wouldn't tell their husband something like that, especially when she is an employee of the University. Hell, Meyer's life coach, whatever that is, went to see the woman back in 2009 to try and get her to stay quiet.

Just got done listening to Spurrier's take on the situation.

He says he hopes Shelley didn't tell Urban so he can keep coaching bc he's a friend and he's a great coach. Zero fricks given at all about what actually happened and the substantial evidence proving Urban did know.

This post is correct. Urb was caught between a rock and a hard place...and he probably deserved it.

Per Courtney...should not be concerned with 1/winning 2/what family is involved...in her rebuke of Meyer for allowing the beatings to continue
