If it was not for good Tennersee, Alabama, and South Carolina folk, Tejas would still be Messican. Bow down to your Saviors once again, Tejas. Kiss the SEC Ring and crawl!

Yes, because I don't want to say "nothing sucks like a burnt orange"

Tennessee is our enemy but they are OUR enemy and I don't want Texas horning in on that.

Listen, I know. Really, I do.

I cannot explain it either, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't.

second largest contingent at the Alamo was from Kentucky.

Stephen F Austin went to Transylvania University in Lexington.

Simple solution..

Tennessee - UT
Texas - Texas

Most Texas alums don’t even say UT, and Texas is pretty short.. but do as you please as it doesn’t really matter to me. You can also use tu or texass or whatever stupid names you come up with..

At the end of the day..

UT = Tennessee
tu = Texas

They will 100% hate this. Tell everyone they don't. But bring it up constantly.

Edit: I was wrong, there is a whole agreement between the two on where you can use it.

Neither has UT.edu though, fricking University of Tampa scooped that shite up, lol.

TU is what most non horn fans use

They only changed their name from Texas university in the 70s. Before that it was always TU anyway

Apparently there is a whole agreement on where the two can use UT.

LINK /

quote:

Under the agreement between the two schools, Tennessee gets to use the trademark east of the Mississippi River and in Louisiana's West Baton Rouge Parish, home of Southeastern Conference member Louisiana State University.

Texas will own the trademark everywhere else west of the Mississippi.

In addition, the agreement gives the Longhorns and Volunteers limited rights to use the popular interlocking UT logo design in each other's territory during bowl games or other special events.

So how will this work if they are in the same conference? This will get interesting.

So Tennessee is only UT in certain parts of Lousiana and not in Missouri and Arkansas.

Texas would be concentrating on futbol if it wasn't for Tennesseans. They can be tu, or Texas, or whatever, but not UT. If they don't like it they can gtfo.

It’s the most hilarious thing. Texas is obviously a stronger academic institution than Tennessee, but fricking Tampa having the domain has to have irked brass at both schools in the past.

Yes indeed.

Looks like, once again, Kentucky and Tennessee bailing Texas out.

Nah. Texas is a blue blood. Vols have a losing record to UF.
