As an LSU fan, should I not be thrilled right now with the way our season is going?

I see the fan base gets a lot of hate for being excited about our offense being tops in the country when an LSU offense has always been laughed at.
That we finally have a QB worth a damn and that’s mentioned throughout all the networks as a Heisman contender. This after years and years of mediocrity. Why does this cause butthurt on this board?
Please tell me how I’m suppose to act right now because apparently we’re doing it wrong.

The problem with LSU fans is that y’all act like this every year. Then when y’all finally have a good team you say, “WHY DO WE GET TREATED LIKE THIS?”

Everything that happens regarding LSU triggers the SEC rant. I mean, after all, we are the winningest program in the SEC this millennium (through three coaches) with no sign of letting up. I don’t blame them.

Who gives a shite what all these envious morons think. I'm enjoying the ride, I don't need anyone's permission or "approval" to do so.
I also realize AU and Bama will be tough as nails, but overall LSU is a rising super power in the sport. It looks at worse like back to back Top 10 final rankings, another monster class coming in, hell yeah! Good times.

Why do you give a rusty frick about what other people think about our fan base? LSU is winning games in an impressive fashion and we are on a collision course with the Tide. That's all that counts. Lions don't care what lambs think about them. Matter of fact, I hope we're pissing off other fan bases. I would much rather be the bad guys people hate than the lovable losers everyone roots for.
