As an Alabama fan, I’ll admit that the refs...

Had a huge impact on the game, specifically the face mask missed call. I’m glad we won, but I hate when there are moments in games like that. Good arse game Georgia. We will see you soon in Atlanta again I’m sure.

There’s not enough evidence in that photo to overturn that one. I thought that was the right call.

I thought he was probably out, but you can’t blame the refs for not being able to tell.
Blame the people who painted those terrible lines.

If that picture is the best ammo Bama fans have to complain back about the refs then you know the officiating was one sided. Can’t even tell if he’s out .

Yea it’s honestly hard to tell with how jagged the lines were.

If he was called out, play stands
If he was called in bounds, play stands
I don't see how you can look at that and definitively say if he was in or out

The biggest were the missed facemask and the obvious blown offside call. THey block that punt, they are in business. Shitty

Coulda gone either way. I remember trying to see what yard line he was at, in case they called it the other way. (16 yard line) My gut feeling said he was out, but nothing that definitively says it.

It's touching the line, that's all it needs.

Bad calls are part of the game.
For other Bama fans to act like there weren't bad calls is dumb.
For UGA fans to blame the loss on the calls is dumber.
For UGA fans to bring up the calls beyond this week would be pathetic.

That one if called correctly would have been a false start, and a rekick anyway.

If we want all the missed calls reversed, then we would have gotten that blocked kick, and possibly a TD or FG. However, the Alabama players were moving before the snap, so the play would have been called dead.....if we are going to correct all the calls, we have to correct all the calls.

He definitely isn't on the line though. Call on the field should stand either way.

The blocked punt wouldn’t have mattered because It would have been negated by the false start. Alabama would have been 5 yards further back instead of 5 yards further up, so It was a 10 yard turnaround though.
The face mask call completely took a possession away from Georgia though.

the obvious blown offside call.
He definitely was not offside, but I will say that the entire mixed crowd (Georgia, Bama and neutral fans) we were watching with immediately thought he was offside when the play happened. His jump was so perfect in real time he actually did look offside to all of us. But the official looking right down the line should have been better there. Big missed call.

That's where you are wrong. The false start was a no call....not a missed call. The called him offsides which he was not. they did not call the false start. So if they had gotten the offsides call right, they still did not call the illegal procedure.
Like I said above, if we want all calls corrected, then yes, illegal procedure should have been called nullifying the play.

I thought he was offsides, too. It wasn't until the replay down the line that I saw he was not. I was shocked. hard to fault the referees on that, but it sure did hurt.
