As an Ag, that LSU win had a 1989 feel to it

OSU comes in as clear #1 with only 4 losses and runs into a buzzsaw pitching performance. On the ropes for the first time all season.

In '89, A&M dominated the regular season. Started 26-0, then 40-1, and came into regional final at 58-5. Lost first game to Ben McDonald, then bats stayed cold in second game and season over.

Be interesting to see how these Beavers respond to a good pounding.

They're in a spot they haven't been in all year. Could get interesting.

Curious how they deal with first taste of pressure

Great team so probably no problem

The craziest part to me is how they came out on fire and beat LSU 13-1, only to lose 1-3 the next time they faced them.

Baseball can be a crazy sport with huge swings.

Appreciate the sentiment! Hope the Tigers can pull out another win....just wish Walker was still available.

My experience with pounding beavers is that they curl up and go to sleep before they that the inevitable walk of shame.

The one issue with that, despite losing our starter, it should have been 1-0 after 6. They whipped our arse after Krob's error, and we ended up walking 12. They aren't 13-1 better than us for sure.

They are good though. So one game to decide it

The game was 1-0 in the 5th with 2 outs. OSU scored 10 runs on 4 hits and 10 walks in the next 2 innings. It was a perfect storm for them

I remember listening to both of those games on the radio with my dad. Nervous as hell all day. But so damn pumped after the 2 wins.

In addition to what the other 2 responded with, those 13 runs were in the books once that game ended

0-0 when game 2 started. Duh

Today's game can be 13-1 lsu. 13-1 osu. 2-1 either team.

Baseball is nuts.

If I have to play a team that beat me already. I'd almost want their win to be a blow out. Over inflates their confidence. Still gotta go play it though.
